“The trail guides are nice and all, but what about some T-shirts?” is a (paraphrased) question that pops up from time-to-time around here. Finally, this site has an online store with sweet custom graphics available across a wide range of goodies!
I worked with cool-dude graphics-designer extraordinaire Steve Oswald ([email protected] if you like his work as much as I do and need some sweet designs) to come up with a new design that gave a sense of the area without being too literal. His final design fits the bill (and hoodie) perfectly, I think. Thanks, Steve!
Pretty sweet, right? I really dig them. Hope you do, too!
HiketheHudsonValley.com now has a permanent “Shop” landing page accessible via the top navigation on every page on the site. That page really just exists to provide a quick overview and bounce people to the actual store, which lives on Spreadshirt.com at https://shop.spreadshirt.com/hike-the-hudson-valley/.
Spreadshirt offers many features that other online T-shirt printers do not, including a great selection of different styles/makers (including Bella+Canvas, Next Level, and organic cotton shirts), an easy-to-navigate store, reasonable prices, and the ability of the customer to edit the size/placement of designs before purchase. They also have moisture-wicking shirts available for men, women, and children, which will hopefully work out well with our very sweaty hiking demographic.
I hope you see some stuff in the shop that looks worthy of adding to your wardrobe and/or cupboards. Take a look in there and let me know what you think!
